One of the best things about following two calendars is that we get to celebrate New Year twice! Although 31st December is still half a year away, the Islamic Hijri calendar is approaching the end of another year.
So, it’s time to think about the final month: Dhul Hijjah – a special time of compassion and generosity; a time to receive incredible blessings and rewards from Allah SWT while you make an impact that will change the lives of children in need throughout the world.

Pause for a second and think about your generous acts of Sadaqah over the past year. Whether large or small, all these acts have made a difference to countless lives. You have brought smiles, comfort and hope to people in need all over the world.

The Power of the First Ten Days
We all know how blessed Ramadan is. It’s a month that’s famous for Muslims stepping up their game and donating generously… but did you know that the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are actually even more blessed?
The Prophet PBUH said, “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days.” [Abu Dawud]
